Bagru Top

Lightweight cotton top with Indian bagru print pattern and embroidery. Inspired by the jacket of the Rabari men a minority tribe in western India. The authentic Rabari jacket is a short shirt with fine pleats, and is made with the wisdom of the nomadic tribes in the desert region: when the body moves, air moves in and out to keep cool, and the long sleeves are rolled up to keep insects out. This is a piece that has been rearranged so that it is easy to wear even today.
