Description:
A comfortable and lightweight rayon haori. It keeps you cool even on hot days. The dyeing technique is said to have originated in the Heian period (794-1185) when ink was floated on water and the pattern was copied on Japanese paper, called "sumi-nagashi e". The gold foil on this elegant and dignified piece is reminiscent of Japanese washi paper, and the UV-cut finish is recommended for protection against ultraviolet rays. The pattern on each item differs due to the handmade nature of the work.
